Control centres are responsible for the management and gathering of essential information, with the aim of increasing security and operating power generation plants with the utmost efficiency. The operators are able to control all the important plant devices from this space and are also able to deal with any unexpected event that may arise. They also carry out regular surveillance and maintenance tasks needed to prevent any recurring problems.
In order to be able to carry out their tasks, it is essential for the control centre operators to be able to receive signals from all the equipment and systems within the power plant. This allows relative information from the equipment located around the plant to be received and resolved in one place.
