As in previous years, Tecnatom was present at the JEC Europe Composite Show and Conferences, whichtookplace in Paris from March 10th to 12th. More than 1,200 companies from different continents participated in this year’s edition, which marked the 25th anniversary of the event.
In this edition of JEC Europe, Tecnatom shared a stand with its French subsidiaries M2MandMetalscan, and showcased the latest breakthroughs in the application of laser-generated and through-transmission ultrasonics (TTU) using phasedarray technology.
Thanks to the integration developed by Tecnatom in its systems for mechanical solutions based on robots and to the flexible and modular design of their electronic and ultrasonic elements, on standard platforms, different types of techniques may be used in the field of non-destructive testing (PE and TTU with water jet or in air, totalorlocalimmersion).Furthermore, boththedataacquisitionandevaluationsoftware and the electronics used for the ultrasonic modules and positioning control are in-house Tecnatom technology. Systems incorporating PATTU(phasedarraythroughtransmission)and laser technology have already been supplied, with excellent results as regards productivity.
Tecnatom will continue to participate in future editions of this event, which is an international reference in the aerospace sector.
