The Chinese company MA Steel, one of the world’s largest manufacturers of rail system wheels and axles, has contracted Tecnatom Metalscan for the supply of two automatic systems for the inspection of wheels in the railway sector. MA Steel is the owner of MG Valdunes, Europe’s largest manufacturer of this type of components.
The requirements made of this inspection system far outstrip the standards habitually applied to this type of equipment, and indeed Tecnatom Metalscan has been awarded the contract due to the technological evolution and adaptability of its inspection equipment.
Furthermore, our French subsidiary is in the process of being awarded several rail contracts in China, which stands out as a potential market for inspection systems in this sector. These contracts consolidate the position of the Tecnatom Group as a reference on the railway sector automatic inspection systems market.
