The oil company Repsol has awarded a project for the drawing up of scenarios on the human factors simulator at its refinery in Tarragona. The scope of this project includes analysis of the most critical environmental and safety-related events, the identification of inadequate performance and the design of simulator scenarios to correct such performance.
The human factors simulator is a powerful tool for working on aspects relating to performance, leadership, teamwork, communications or procedures. Repsol has placed its trust in Tecnatom’s experience, the company having spent more than ten years successfully operating its human factors simulator to provide services to the Ascó and Vandellós nuclear power plants, as well as supporting this type of activities at the Almaraz, Trillo and Cofrentes plants.
This contract joins other activities that Tecnatom is developing jointly with Repsol, such as those relating to the safety culture, human error prevention techniques, leadership, etc.
