The Conference on Equipment Technology, COTEQ 2017, a meeting sponsored by the Brazilian Non-Destructive Testing and Inspection Association (ABENDI), was held in Río de Janeiro (Brazil) from 15th to 18th May last. The present edition of the conference, considered the largest in Latin America in its field, included the participation of the Tecnatom Group via Tecnatom do Brasil and M2M, with our products and services being showcased on a stand of our own.
Also in May, on 18th and 19th of the month, the first Latin American Engineering and Technology Congress (CIBITEC 2017) was held at the University College of Industrial Engineering of the Polytechnic University of Madrid (UPM), dedicated this year to the digitalisation of the industry. Tecnatom was one of the official collaborators and also participated in the panel of experts that debated the contribution made by new digital tools to the transformation of the industrial sector, especially in areas with higher safety requirements.
