On June 28th last, Tecnatom held an event to commemorate the sixtieth anniversary of the company’s foundation in 1957 with its partners and clients. For sixty years our company has been providing innovative high added value solutions to a multitude of clients across the world, and we have wanted to share with them the satisfaction that we derive from having accompanied them in their successes over the years as one of the longest-living companies in the nuclear sector.
The event was attended by the managers of the most significant companies in the sectors in which Tecnatom operates, as well as by the President of the Nuclear Safety Council, Fernando Marti Scharfhausen, the Mayor of San Sebastián de los Reyes, Narciso Romero, the CSN Counsellor Javier Dies Llovera and a number of representatives from the Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness.
In his address, the Mayor of San Sebastián de los Reyes underlined the historic importance of Tecnatom and its important impact on the local economy, stressing that it was the first company to set up in what is today the industrial area of the city. In his words, “Having with us a company like Tecnatom, that carries the name of our city around the world, generating cutting-edge technology and creating stable employment for highly qualified people, is for us a source of pride”.
For his part the General Manager of Tecnatom, Javier Guerra, briefly summarised the most relevant historical milestones that have been reached over these 60 years. In his intervention he thanked our partners and clients for the close relationships that have been maintained over the years, pointing out that we are currently witnessing a turning point in the industry at world level, an industry in which Tecnatom aspires to continue being a technological leader.
