The Tecnatom Group has recently participated in the latest edition of JEC World, the international reference event on composite materials, which took place in Paris from March 6th to 8th.
On its stand the Tecnatom Aerospace Division showcased a version of WiiPA® (WIreless Encoders Inspection, based on Phased Array), a wireless positioning system for the manual inspection of areas of different sizes and complex geometries with real-time position registration, designed for both the ultrasonic (UT) technique and other techniques such as eddy currents. WiiPA® integrates two state-of-the-art technologies: artificial vision and 3D inspection software, providing highly competitive advantages and at the same time a cost saving for the client.
This is an advanced technology solution that has already been acquired by certain aerospace clients such as Corse Composites Aéronautiques (France), Turkish Aerospace Industry (Turkey) and Aernnova-Coasa (Spain).
On this occasion JEC World brought together more than 1,300 companies from more than 100 countries, from the suppliers of raw materials to end users, with more than 2,300 B2B encounters.
