Every year the HispaRob plateau organises an annual working session open to R&D&i companies and centres wishing to learn of the benefits of robotics and its applications. On this occasion a session entitled “opportunities in robotics for aeronautical sector companies” was organised in collaboration with the IK4-TEKNIKER Technology and Research Centre, with the participation of Tecnatom.
Our aerospace division participated in the meeting, showcasing the success story of tecnaLUS (an
innovative inspection system that uses laser-generated ultrasonics to inspect components of complex geometry, developed jointly with the Airbus Group), which allows for increased efficiency and quality in the manufacturing processes of the aeronautical industry and a reduction in costs. The session was held at the IK4-TEKNIKER headquarters in Eibar, Guipúzcoa, and was attended by important aerospace industry players such as Airbus, Aernnova, CESA, CDTI and Hegan Cluster.
HispaRob is the Spanish robotics technology plateau, in which Tecnatom has a highly relevant participation.
