Tecnatom and TSR Wind have signed an agreement to provide high added value services in the wind energy sector in Latin America, especially in Brazil, Colombia and Ecuador.
This agreement is part of the Tecnatom diversification strategy, in which the company seeks to offer products and services taking advantage of synergies with its traditional activities. Specifically, this alliance will offer services aimed at improving understanding of the assets, allowing better use to be made of them throughout the service lifetime of wind generators.
Tecnatom strengthens its inspection position in Latin America
Within the framework of this agreement, the two companies will share their inspection technology and know-how, bringing together the robot-operated equipment of TSR Wind and Tecnatom’s more than 60 years of experience in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) to perform visual inspections of wind generator blades and ultrasonic NDT inspections of the steel towers.
Through this agreement, Tecnatom strengthens its inspection position on the wind energy market in Latin America, complementing the company’s inspection, asset management, training and monitoring and control room services offer.
