After a three-year hiatus due to the pandemic and the limitations derived from it as regards the holding of face-to-face meetings, the Inspection and Testing day was held on February 23rd at the Tecnatom Headquarters in San Sebastian de los Reyes.
On this occasion the event was a monographic one on valves. The acceptance was exceptional and there was a large attendance of representatives from all the Spanish nuclear power plants, as well as a large representation of Westinghouse, which participated in this event for the first time.
The day was structured in four presentations:
– New regulations and their impact
– Valve monitoring
– Solutions to obsolescence
– Integral valve service
In addition, a visit to the laboratories was included, where our customers had the opportunity to see the latest monitoring equipment developed together with our partner Teledyne and the latest generation of actuator test benches.
The day was a success, with the presence of twenty-four professionals representing the different Spanish plants. It was an excellent opportunity to respond to their problems and concerns and to share with them the solutions that Westinghouse and Tecnatom can provide.
Throughout the day, special emphasis was placed on the importance of sharing information as the most effective way to effectively meet the needs of the plants.
Tecnatom is grateful for the confidence that the professionals of the Spanish nuclear sector place in us for the organization of these meetings, which it wishes to continue developing in the future.
