World reference in the aerospace sector
Inicio | Aerospace sector
In the aerospace sector, Tecnatom has its own state-of-the-art ultrasonic inspection technology, which is constantly updated and improved through its R&D activities.
The Tecnatom Group has managed to position itself as a reference company in the supply of inspection systems, equipment and services based fundamentally on ultrasonics, eddy currents, thermography and other NDT techniques on the industrial market.
Tecnatom has become a reference as a supplier of advanced NDT systems for quality assurance during manufacturing or for in-service inspection during maintenance activities.
Its investment in the development of proprietary technology has resulted in a family of robot-based solutions (Taurus), such as inspection cells integrated in the manufacturing process for quality assurance.
It also develops NDT hardware and software for data acquisition, semi-automatic and portable equipment (WiiPA) and technical support during the life cycle of components through the development of specifications, procedures and inspection at its own or customers’ facilities.
The Tecnatom Group provides its technology to Airbus, Boeing, Bombardier and Embraer, four major Western aerospace OEMs, and Asia’s COMAC.
In addition to these major OEMs, Tecnatom systems are found in many others in its supply chain, Tier 1 or Tier 2, on four continents.
