The 15th Working Session on Inspection, Testing and Maintenance was held on April 20th at the Tecnatom headquarters in San Sebastián de los Reyes. The event was attended by a large number of representatives from all the Spanish nuclear power plants, as well as from Iberdrola, ENUSA and UNESA.
This traditional session serves as a framework for the presentation of the most important technological novelties and technical evolutions in the field of inspection and testing equipment developed by Tecnatom, as well as to look in depth at the expectations and needs of the plants.
This edition included analysis of the results and indicators of refuelling outages performed in 2016, presentation of the technological novelties, both implemented and in the implementation phase, for the inspection of steam generator tubes and action proposals for the optimisation of plant maintenance tasks, such as the digitalisation of processes and equipment monitoring. Finally, Tecnatom’s long-term plant operating capabilities were presented. The discussions that took place during the session provided important feedback for the implementation of future actions.
