ROSATOM-CICE&T, through its Finnish subsidiary (RAOS Project Oy) continues the process of training personnel for the Hanhikivi-1 nuclear power plant. This training is aimed at all the plant engineering staff and focuses on the technology of this reactor type, developed by JSC Atomproekt (a subsidiary of the Russian company Atomtroyexport).
Tecnatom is participating in this project and has delivered the training module on basic plant technology, with the participation of several instructors from the International Training Centre.
A few months ago, the Russian companies ROSATOM-CICE&T and JSC Rusatom Services signed a cooperation agreement with Tecnatom to extend their three-way cooperation in the nuclear industry, more specifically in the fields of training and plant services activities.
The objective of the first phase of this agreement was to develop cooperation between the companies in terms of R&D, education and training, with a view to supporting the development of the nuclear infrastructure at world level. This first contract with Hanhikivi lays the foundations for future collaboration in the international expansion of the Russian nuclear programme.
