Tecnatom participated as an associate company in the 7th edition of the Smart Energy Congress, organised in Madrid by EnerTIC last April. EnerTIC’s mission is to “contribute to developing the transformation potential of information technology and communications in the field of energy efficiency in Spain, with the support of associated companies and public institutions, in the interests of a more competitive and sustainable economy”.
The issues dealt with at the congress related to Smart Cities, Industry 4.0, Smart Data Center and Smart Energy. Within this framework, Tecnatom presented a paper entitled “Digital transformation: a lever to optimise the operation of energy facilities”, highlighting the capabilities and areas of greatest interest for Tecnatom in this area.
Digital transformation is a key aspect of the Tecnatom value proposal to the company’s clients, and in this respect we are undertaking a number of projects for the development of new products and services consolidating the company as a reference in the energy sector and allowing us to diversify and penetrate new markets and sectors. With this proposal very much in mind, collaborations with research and development organisations, technology companies and start-ups are fundamental to accelerate the development of products and services on the basis of digital technologies at the rate currently demanded by the market
