Tecnatom has once again participated in JEC World, the benchmark event for composite materials at world level, held from 5th to 7th March at the Paris Nord Villepinte Exhibition Centre.
JEC World brings together more than 1,300 companies from over 100 countries, from raw material suppliers to end users, and more than 43,000 professional visitors.
Tecnatom’s aerospace division exhibited on its stand a portable version of the WiiPA system (Wireless Encoders Inspection, based on Phased Array), wireless positioning equipment that allows ultrasonic inspection to be performed manually, obtaining the C-Scan record of the inspection.
The WiiPA system makes it possible to track the position of the ultrasonic probe using infrared cameras, without the need for encoders or additional mechanics, eliminating the restrictions of size or geometry of the parts to be inspected. It is even capable of positioning several probes at the same time, allowing more than one inspection station or several work areas to be inspected simultaneously. WiiPA is designed for ultrasonic inspection using Pulse-Eco Phased Array, but it is easily adaptable to other techniques.
In addition to the WiiPA system, Tecnatom showed on its stand its wide range of systems and applications based on its own technology, such as the TAURUS robotic system, the most versatile and productive on the market, in its different configurations (TAURUS-Yoke, TAURUS-Twin, TAURUS-Tank, TAURUS-Gantry) and applicable to any inspection technique, including ultrasonic, eddy current, digital-radiography, thermography and shearography.

Thank you for all the visits received, we hope to see you next year at JEC 2025.
