Tecnatom has participated in the China International Exhibition on Nuclear Power Industry (CIENPI) congress along with the other companies forming the Spanish Nuclear Group for Cooperation (SNGC).
Participation in this international event, which this year has been held in Beijing, has allowed Tecnatom to showcase its capabilities and strengthen the commercial relations with the Asian giant and other countries. Furthermore, agreements have been signed, such as the one between the SNGC business consortium and the CNOC of the China General Nuclear group, or collaboration in different areas of nuclear power plant operation and maintenance.
China is the country that is constructing the largest number of nuclear power plants (20 reactors) and has the highest market potential. At present the country has 37 reactors in operation, producing 3.56% of its electricity. Of the 60 reactors currently under construction in the world, 39 are being built on the Asian continent.
